An extensive area of convective cloud in a vigorous and cold southerly flow
extends over the Tasman Sea. An area of low cloud extends over parts of Tasmania
and adjacent waters.

A cloud band associated with a cold front is crossing WA, with cellular cloud
over southwest parts of the State in a cool southwesterly flow.

The rest of the country remains generally cloud-free under the influence of a
large high pressure system, save for some high cloud over the York Peninsula.
