A cloud band, east of a surface trough, is now crossing Tasmania, Victoria and
central New South Wales. Patchy high cloud is over northeast NSW and southeast
Queensland due to an upper level jetstream.

A cold front and its associated cloud band are moving across southern Western
Australia.

The north of the country is largely clear, apart from an area of low cloud over
the QLD North Tropical Coast and Tablelands.
