A thick cloud band lies off the east coast ahead of a cold front passing over
southeast New South Wales.

Further cloud and isolated thunderstorms lie along a trough extending through
New South Wales, Queensland, the NT and connecting into a heat low over the
Kimberley.

Onshore flow is generating areas of low level cloud over coastal regions of the
Bight, southern Victoria and western Tasmania.

The rest of the continent is mostly cloud free.
