IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for the 1200UTC chart on 28 April 2015 Issued at 12:41 am EST Wednesday on 29 April 2015 An intensifying tropical low to the northwest of Western Australia is generating an extensive area of convective cloud. A low pressure trough extending to the south from this low is producing a cloud band with thunderstorms, with cloud streaming further through southern Western Australia. Isolated thunderstorms can also be seen near the north coast of New South Wales. Areas of low cloud are visible over Tasmania, Victoria, southern New South Wales and South Australia in a moist onshore flow. A high pressure ridge is keeping other parts of the country mostly cloud free.
