A cloud band with active and vigorous embedded thunderstorms is moving through
the east of the country, driven by a cold front.

Thunderstorms over the Kimberley region are being driven by a trough of low
pressure.

A ridge of high pressure extends over The Bight from the west and is trapping
some low cloud over southwestern parts of WA. Conditions are clear across the
rest of the country.
