Low cloud with isolated showers is present along the NSW coast and ranges
extending to east Gippsland. This is the result of a high pressure system over
the Tasman Sea directing moist onshore winds to the area. Patchy cloud is
visible over southern Tasmania due to the passage of a weak cold front.

A broad low pressure trough extends from the southwest of Western Australia
across the north of the country through the eastern interior. Showers and
isolated storms remain active near the south coast of Western Australia and also
through the northern interior. An active line of storms is moving through the
Daly and Gregory districts of the Northern Territory. Patchy cloud is streaming
through central Australia and western Queensland.

High pressure is keeping southeast interior of Australia mostly clear.
