Typical isolated thunderstorm activity continues over tropical northern parts of
the country with particularly active areas over the Top End.

A cloud band with isolated thunderstorms extends from central WA to southern
South Australia and western Victoria. This is associated with a surface trough.

Patchy low level cloud along the QLD coast is associated with an onshore flow.

The rest of the country is relatively cloud free under the influence of a high
pressure ridge.
