Issued at 5:57 am EST Tuesday on 07 May 2013
Patchy cloud over eastern parts of SA and over VIC and southern NSW is associated with an upper level trough.
Some low level cloud along the northern NSW and QLD coast is evident in the moist onshore strengthing easterly flow.
Middle to high level cloud that extends over western and southern parts of WA is associated with a developing low pressure system and cold front currently in the Indian Ocean.
A ridge of high pressure is keeping the remainder of the country relatively cloud free.
