Thunderstorm activity over the Arafura Sea and the Gulf of Carpentaria is associated with a tropical low and an active trough.
A large cloud band over southern WA and the Great Australian Bight is now reaching Tasmania. This band is from moisture being transported poleward ahead of a strengthening cold front.
Thunderstorm activity can also be seen near the NSW central coast.
