Ex-Tropical Cyclone Owen is evident off the tropical east coast of Queensland
with associated convective bands generating showers and thunderstorms.

Extensive cloud band from Queensland east coast to eastern NSW and adjacent
Tasman Sea associated with ex-tropical cyclone Owen and a moist onshore flow
along the eastern Seaboard.

A low centred south of Tasmania and associated trough maintains a band of cloud
over southern Victoria, the Bass Strait and Tasmania.
Low cloud covers southeastern parts of South Australia.

Thunderstorms are becoming active along a trough extending from southwest WA
through the NT to the central Gulf Country in western Queensland. 

Central Australia and much of the rest of WA, except the far southwest, is
mostly cloud free.
