Tropical Cyclone "Oma" sits out over the Coral Sea, well away from the QLD
coast. "Oma" is embedded within the Monsoon Trough and a large area of
convection surrounds the system.

A low pressure trough extending through QLD, across the NT and down through WA
where patchy reminant cloud extends over northern parts of hte country after
yesterdays dirunal isolated thunderstorms occured. 

A cold front has brought patchy, middle level cloud to the south east of the

Low cloud over the southern Western Australian coastline is driven by onshore
flow trapped under a large high pressure ridge.

The remainder of Australia is relatively clear.
