Middle and high level cloud, with embedded thunderstorms, extends over the
interior of Western Australia and the Northern Territory generated by a broad
upper trough.

A surface trough and moisture have brought thunderstorms to southeast
Queensland.

In the wake of a cold front areas of low cloud extend over the southeast of the
country while middle level cloud with embedded storms extends over the Tasman
Sea on the cold front.
