A complex system is present over New South Wales with a low connected to a
trough centred over the south, and an associated coastal trough and low. This
system is associated with a broad and active area of cloud covering most of the
southeast of the continent.

A cloud band can be seen over northern areas of the continent over central NT
and into Qld, with embedded thundstorms in central NT. Further convective
activity can be seen in the north, with thunderstorm activity in the Gulf of
Carpentaria and much convective activity over the NT.

Moist onshore flow is generating areas of low cloud over southern coastal
regions of South Australia and Tasmania

The rest of the country is mostly clear.
