A trough and cold front combination is moving across the eastern parts of the
Great Australian Bight with associated cloud and embedded thunderstorms
affecting South Australia, the interior districts of Western Australia and the
southern parts of the Northern Territory.

Afternoon thunderstorms can also be seen over the northern parts of the Northern
Territory and the Kimberley District in Western Australia.

A southwesterly airstream is generating areas of low cloud along the southern
Western Australia coast.

High and middle level cloud is drifting onto Tasmania and the southwest parts of
Victoria, ahead of the approaching cold front.

The remainder of the country is mostly cloud free.
