IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for the 1200UTC chart on 25 January 2015 Issued at 12:58 am EDT Monday on 26 January 2015 A broad area of low pressure extends over large parts of northern Australia causing cloud with embedded thunderstorms over much of the Northern Territory, as well as northern and central WA and Queensland. A cloud band associated with a cold front has now moved over the Tasman Sea, leaving convective cloud in the cold air behind it about Tasmania. The rest of the country remains mostly clear apart from some low cloud along the southern coast.
