A trough of low pressure system extends across eastern Queensland, through
eastern NSW and connects to a low near Tasmania. Associated cloud band and
thunderstorm activity is visible within the vicinity of the trough, cold front
and the low.

An area of cloud further east of Queensland coast is due an easterly trough in
the southern Coral Sea.

A trough with associated cloud and thunderstorms extends from northern WA
through to northern NT.

An extensive area of cloud associated with a cold front is moving across
southern WA. Meanwhile, a pre-frontal trough ahead of the cold front in southern
WA is generating thundery showers.

A broad area of low cloud lingers about the southeast SA coast within an onshore
southerly flow.

The remainder of Australia is mostly clear due to a high pressure ridge.
