A band of cloud associated with a trough of low pressure extends from northern
WA through southern parts of the Northern Territory to a cold front moving
through Victoria and Tasmania. Cloud associated with this system extends through
much of New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania.

Weak convective cloud is present over eastern Queensland associated with another
trough of low pressure through central parts of the State.

A ridge of high pressure extends onto southern Western Australia from the west
and is maintaining clear conditions across the rest of inland WA while low cloud
is present along the southwest coastal regions.
