Satellite Notes for the 0000UTC chart on 05 October 2015
Issued at 11:35 am EDT Monday on 05 October 2015

Patchy high cloud is drifting across the southeast of Australia and is the
remnant of a cloud band generated by an upper trough. A weakening cold front is
moving across southern districts of Western Australai while a stronger front is
approaching the southwest coast.

Areas of cloud are visible about northern parts of the Territory and Kimberley.
Onshore southeasterly winds are also resulting in areas of low cloud about the
northeast coast of Queensland. The remainder of Australia is mostly clear due to
a ridge of high pressure.
