Cloud is streaming along a trough from the Kimberley to central Australia. Isolated showers and thunderstorm activity is evident in the vicinity of the trough. Further south, a broad upper level trough and associated cloud band is progressing across the southeast of Australia. This mass of cloud merges with another area of cloud ahead of a cold front south of the Bight. Cool, westerly winds are bringing low cloud to the southwest of Western Australia. The remainder of Australia is generally clear apart from patchy cloud about the east coast.
