IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for the 0000UTC Chart on 28 June 2016 Issued at 11:05 am EST Tuesday on 28 June 2016 Low cloud over the eastern parts of New South Wales, Victoria and the southeastern parts of Queensland, is due to a low pressure system located over the Tasman Sea. Thunderstorms can be seen around the low pressure system, mainly over the Tasman Sea. A cold front and associated cloud band has begun to influence the southwest parts of Western Australia. Some mid to high level cloud is visible over Tasmania. This is due to a cold front that has weakened to the south of Tasmania. The rest of the country remains clear due to a large high pressure system centred over southwest Queensland.
