Severe Tropical Cyclone "Trevor" is making landfall over the southwest of the
Gulf of Carpentaria with widespread thunderstorm activity.

Severe Tropical Cyclone "Veronica" is near the Pilbara coast, WA. Cloud is
streaming southeastwards from this system. A mass of cloud over eastern New
South Wales, eastern Victoria and Tasmania has been swept eastward ahead of a
surface trough.

Some low cloud is over southwest WA in a moist onshore airstream.
