Extensive low and middle level cloud is crossing Tasmania, southwest Victoria and South Australia from the west ahead of a cold front. Middle level cloud and thunderstorms through northern and central WA, northern NT and northeastern Queensland are triggered by low pressure troughs. The remainder of Australia is mostly clear.
