A second cold front and associated cloud band has passed across Tasmania this morning and now lies off the east coast over the Tasman Sea. Patchy upper level cloud is streaming through the interior of the continent, associated with an upper level instability. Areas of low cloud extend over the south of the continent in the onshore wind flow. The rest of the continent is mostly clear.
