A weak band of low to mid level cloud associated with a cold front is moving
onto the south island of New Zealand.

A second cold front and associated cloud band has passed across Tasmania this
morning and now lies off the east coast over the Tasman Sea.

Patchy upper level cloud is streaming through the interior of the continent,
associated with an upper level instability.

Areas of low cloud extend over the south of the continent in the onshore wind
flow.
The rest of the continent is mostly clear.
