Cloud with isolated thunderstorms over the central and southeast parts of WA is
the combined result of a surface and an upper level trough. Patchy high cloud
can be seen streaming across SA ahead of the upper level trough.

A cold front with an associated cloud band is crossing southwest WA with
isolated thunderstorms visible, mainly south of the coast.

Low cloud can be seen along the NSW coast in an onshore southerly wind flow.

Cloud off the east coast of QLD is due to another surface trough and upper level
jetstream.

A strong high pressure system located to the southeast of SA, extends a ridge
over the remainder of the country and is maintaining mostly clear skies.
