Widely scattered convective clouds persist over much of central to eastern
Australia and western Qld, associated with the remnants of Ex Tropical Cyclone
Tiffany and associated troughs.

A broad band of middle and upper level jet stream cloud extends from the inland
desert region of WA across SA then over the southern NSW border region with Vic.

Low cloud covers the southern coastal fringe of the continent and Tas in the
prevailing onshore wind flow.

Scattered tropical thunderstorms persist over the north and west of the Top End,
Kimberley and Barkly regions, and Torres Strait Islands.

The rest of the country is mostly clear.
