IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for 1800UTC Chart Issued at 5:08 am EST Wednesday on 29 June 2022 A band of middle and high level cloud associated with an upper trough is streaming from the Arafura Sea to the north into the Northern Territory, South Australia and western parts of Queensland and New South Wales. Further south, a maturing frontal cloud band is moving towards South Australia, Victoria and Tasmania. Low level cloud is evident along the eastern seaboard from the central coast of New South Wales northward along the Queensland coast due to moist trade winds pushing over the Tasman Sea north of the high pressure currently centred near Newcastle. The rest of the continent, predominantly the bulk of Western Australia, remains mostly clear.
