A heat trough is driving a cloud band extending across central east W.A. to
southwestern corner of N.T., then to S.A. generating convective clouds with
embedded thunderstorms over these three states and territory and into western
New South Wales.

Onshore flow generating low clouds about the southern coastal regions of
mainland Australia and much of Tasmania.

Mid to high level cloud with embedded thunderstorms covers northern Kimberley
district in W.A., the Top End in N.T. and Cape York in Queensland.

The rest of the continent is mostly cloud free.
