IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for 0600UTC Chart Issued at 5:58 pm EST Wednesday on 17 August 2022 A cold front with an extensive band of cloud extends from WA into the Bight, with high level cloud from this band also covering southern SA, Vic and southern NSW, as well as, Tas. Cellular postfrontal cloud with thunderstorm activity covers the western districts and the southwest of WA. Another upper level trough, over the southeastern part of the country, is generating areas of isolated thunderstorm activity in the costal waters of Qld. The rest of the country is mostly clear.
