In the west a vigorous cold front is crossing southern WA. A "spiral" cloud band
wraps along the front and in towards the low pressure system off the Leeuwin
coast.

Fog and low cloud are affecting large parts of the southeast, trapped under the
subsidence inversion caused by the approaching high.

Some low cloud is also over Cape York Peninsula.
