Much of the continent is cloud free due to a ridge of high pressure across the
southeast and the central part of the country.

A cold front in the Great Australian Bight is approaching Tasmania with a band
of cloud stretching from west of WA to Tasmania but the cloud remains well to
the south of Victoria. Onshore flow is generating areas of cloud along the
northern NSW coast and the southern half of the Queensland coast.

Low cloud can also be seen about the southern coast of Western Australia.
