A cool south to southwesterly airstream is over the southeast of the country. A
cloud band associated with a cold front extends from the southeast Queensland
coast to a low over the Tasman Sea. Areas of low cloud extend over eastern NSW,
southeast SA, southern Victoria and western and southern Tasmania.

A cloud band associated with a strong cold front is crossing southwest WA.

The rest of the country remains generally cloud-free under the influence of a
large high pressure system.
