A cold front with an extensive cloud band sweeps over southeastern Australia as
it begins to slip southwards. The distinctive open cellular cloud is evident
south of SA and western Vic in the cold postfrontal airmass behind the front.

A thin band of cloud fed by tropical moisture from the tropical Indian Ocean
south of indonesia can be seem moving across the Gascoyne coast and into the
goldfields region of WA. The remainder of the country remains relatively clear
under the influence of a high pressure ridge.
