IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for the 0600UTC chart on 25 January 2015 Issued at 6:46 pm EDT Sunday on 25 January 2015 A broad area of low pressure extends over large parts of northern Australia causing cloud with embedded thunderstorms over much of the North Territory, as well as northern WA and Queensland. A cloud band associated with a cold has now moved over the Tasman Sea, leaving convective cloud in the cold air behind it over Tasmania. The rest of the country remains mostly clear apart from some low cloud along the southern coast.
