Satellite Notes for the 0000UTC chart on 17 September 2014.

Issued at 11:03 am EST Wednesday on 17 September 2014

A trough over the Tasman Sea is producing a broad area of cloud with isolated thunderstorms.

A cold front and associated cloud band is moving across Tasmania and southern Victoria.

Patchy middle level cloud can be seen over parts central Australia, this is due to a middle level disturbance.

The remainder of Australia is mostly cloud free apart from some patchy low cloud about parts of the southern coastal areas of the country in an onshore airflow.
