A cloud band associated with a cold front has now moved away from the east
coast. A pool of cold air is over the Tasman Sea following the front with
extensive convective cloud and isolated thunderstorms. Areas of low cloud are
over western Victoria and western Tasmania.

A cloud band associated with a strong cold front is crossing southwest WA.

The rest of the country remains generally cloud-free under the influence of a
large high pressure system.
