A patchy cloud band, with a few embedded showers and thunderstorms, extends from
the Pilbara region of WA thickening as it sweeps southeast over South Australia
before warping into a low pressure system centred in the Great Australian Bight.
High cloud sweeping away from this system extends over Tasmanian and Victoria.

Moist onshore flow driven by a high pressure system south of the Bight is
bringing areas of low cloud over southern coasts of WA, SA, VIC and TAS.

Other than localised light showers along the QLD coast, the remainder of the
country remains relatively cloud free.
