A cloud band has developed over inland QLD, NSW and northeast VIC to the east of
a surface trough. An upper air disturbance to the west is supporting this
system. A number of thunderstorms are evident within the band, with a few
isolated storms also developing in its wake.

A slow-moving low pressure system centred west of Tasmania has a areas of cloud
circling around it, as well as promoting the development of more thunderstorm
activity.

An area of low cloud still lingers over southwest WA.
