An upper trough is driving a large could band extending across the southern
parts of the country into the southeast, with embedded thunderstorms over
Victoria and Tasmania.

High based thunderstorms are occurring over inland parts of Western Australia.

The southern coast of WA and eastern QLD are covered by low cloud being
generated by onshore winds.

The rest of the continent is mostly cloud free.
