Thunderstorms remain active across the north of the country embedded within an
extensive band of patchy mid to high level cloud associated with an upper level
trough. Isolated thunderstorms can also be seen near a surface trough over
central Australia.

A cold front and the associated cloud band which wraps into a rapidly developing
low over the Southern Ocean are moving across southern parts of the country.
