A band of patchy middle level cloud stretching across central WA and through to
central SA is associated with a trough. Embedded thunderstorms are visible
within this cloud band. A separate surface trough over the far southeast of SA
is generating areas of middle level cloud with isolated thunderstorms.

A surface trough off the coast of NSW and southeast QLD is generating an
extensive band of middle level cloud, with embedded thunderstorms that extends
over the western Tasman Sea to southeast QLD.

An area of patchy middle level cloud and scattered thunderstorms over northeast
NSW and southeast QLD is being driven by an upper level trough.
