A complex low pressure system and associated cold front has moved into the
Tasman Sea.

A trough extends from southwest WA to the NT and further east, just off the
coast of QLD. Associated cloud and thunderstorms are present.

The central inland part of the continent is mostly cloud free due to a high
pressure ridge while low cloud is present along the southeast and the north of
the country.
