An active cold front and associated cloud band is moving across the Tasman Sea. Cold untsable air with showers and thunderstorms remain active immediately behind the front. The southeast of the country is seeing some low cloud due to cool southerly winds. In the west, a low pressure trough is generating patchy cloud about the Southwest Land Division of Western Australia. The remainder of the continent is generally clear apart some low cloud about the North Queensland coast.
