IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for the 0000UTC chart on 28 April 2015 Issued at 12:16 pm EST Tuesday on 28 April 2015 A Tropical Low to the northwest of Western Australia is generating very active convection in this vicinity. A low pressure trough over the Indian Ocean is producing thunderstorm activity with clouds streaming to the west coast of Western Australia. Isolated thunderstorms can also be seen near the coast of New South Wales. Areas of low cloud are drifting over Tasmania, Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and southeastern parts of Western Australia in a moist onshore flow. Patchy high level cloud associated with the jet stream is moving quickly over the eastern Queensland. A high pressure ridge is keeping other parts of the country mostly cloud free.
