Showers continue along the Queensland coast due to fresh southeasterly winds.
The shower activity is more enhanced along the North Tropical Coast. Further
south, a weak trough off the NSW coast and is triggering isolated showers and

A band of middle and high level cloud is streaming from the Bight over southern
parts of South Australia, Victoria and Tasmania. Thunderstorms are embedded in
the cloud band near the Eyre Peninsula. Another cloud band is streaming over the
Indian Ocean with high level cloud drifting over southern Western Australia. A
series of fronts is visible over the Southern Ocean. The interior of Australia
is mostly clear under a ridge of high pressure.
