Showers and thunderstorms continue over northern Australia as well as down
through central WA and central QLD and are due to a hot, humid, unstable
airmass.

Across the country's southeast, a slow-moving low pressure system is generating
a large cloud mass with widespread embedded thunderstorms that sweep along NSW
coast and adjacent offshore areas of the Tasman Sea.

A moist onshore flow is pushing low cloud along SA's coast as well as western
VIC and far southeastern WA.
