A trough extends from the Pilbara region of WA through central Australia to
northwest NSW and another trough from coastal NSW to Vic. A large band of cloud
with a few embedded thunderstorms is associated with these troughs.

Meanwhile, a cold front in the eastern Bight is approaching Tas with mostly low
to mid level cloud extending on to the southeastern part of the continent and
Tas.

Onshore flow along the southern coastal areas of WA and SA is also generating
areas of low cloud.

The rest of the continent is mostly cloud free apart from some patchy cloud and
odd thunderstorms over the northern Kimberley region of WA.
