A cold front is moving across the Tasman Sea. Extensive area of cellular
convective cloud can be seen in the cold air west of the front.

Low cloud over the southern parts of the continent is due to onshore southerly
flow directed by a high pressure system near southern WA coast.

Small area of mid to high level cloud over interior WA is associated with an
upper trough.

Southeast wind flow is directing low level cloud over Cape York Peninsula and
the northeastern parts of the Top End.

The remainder of the continent is largely cloud free under the influence of a
high pressure ridge extending from a high near southern WA coast.
