A low to mid level cloud band extends over eastern NSW from the Tasman Sea. This
is associated with a surface trough off the NSW coast.

A cold front over the Bight has showers and thunderstorms embedded in its
associated cloud band. Cold air behind the front is generating thunderstorm
cells over waters south of WA and low cloud covers most of southwest WA.

A line of cloud crosses Cape York but the remainder of the continent is mostly
clear under the influence of a weak high pressure ridge.
