IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for 0000UTC Chart Issued at 11:26 am EST Tuesday on 05 July 2022 A cloud band with bands of embedded convective showers associated with a broad upper trough covers much of eastern Queensland and New South Wales. Particularly active cloud activity can be seen over central New South Wales associated with a trough connecting to a low in the Tasman Sea. A cold front is passing over the southwest of Western Australia, with a band of cloud currently crossing the coast, and cumulus cloud following in its wake. Lower cloud is present along the coastal fringe where winds are onshore, particularly in southeast New South Wales, Victoria, southern Tasmania, and parts of South Australia. The rest of the continent remains mostly clear.
