Extensive shower and thunderstorm activity continues across the far northeast of
the country, particularly associated with redeveloped Tropical Cyclone Owen over
the Gulf of Carpentaria.

A cloud band stretches from eastern South Australia across New South Wales and
Victoria to the Tasman Sea. This is associated with an upper level disturbance.

Thunderstorms and a cloud band stretching from northern Western Australia to
southeast WA and western South Australia is associated with a surface trough.

Another cloud band associated with a cold front is moving over southern parts of
southwest Western Australia.
