IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for the 0000UTC chart on 24 May 2015 Issued at 11:00 am EST Sunday on 24 May 2015 Cloud with isolated thunderstorms over central and southeast parts of WA and into SA is due to a surface and an upper level trough. Patchy high cloud can be seen streaming across VIC and the Bass Strait, ahead of the upper level trough. Low cloud can be seen near the NSW, southern QLD and the southwest WA coasts with onshore winds. A high pressure system over southeast Australia extends a ridge over NSW and Queensland and is maintaining mostly clear skies. Another high in the Indian Ocean causes clear conditions to prevail over the west coast and adjoining inland of the continent.
