A broad ridge of high pressure extends low-level cloud over southern parts of
the continent. Low-level cloud also extends over eastern and southern parts of
Queensland and northeast NSW, contrasted by the clear skies in the relatively
drier airmass further west and south.

Meanwhile an upper level trough is developing some mid-high level cloud with
isolated thunderstorms over inland parts of WA.

The rest of the continent remains relatively cloud free thanks again to the
ridge along the south coast.
