A surface trough and an upper air disturbance are responsible for the cloud over
the southeast.

A band of cloud associated with a cold front is present over much of Tas.

A band of middle and high level cloud band over WA is extending eastward into
central Australia.

The north of the continent remains mostly clear of any significant cloud.
