A cold front and associated cloud band extends from the Bight to the west of
Tasmania then further southeast. Cumulus cloud behind the front is bringing
showers to the far southwest of Western Australia and along the southern coast.

High pressure covers eastern Australia resulting in mostly clear conditions.
Southeasterly winds are generating areas of low cloud and isolated showers along
the Queensland coast, while patchy low cloud covers part of Tasmania.

Clear conditions persist through the interior and over northern Australia apart
from some high cloud over the Gulf of Carpentaria.
