Cold air from the Southern Ocean is moving across the southeast of the country
in the wake of a trough. A cold front over the Tasman Sea is associated with
thick cloud and embedded thunderstorms moving towards NZ.

Another cold front anchored to a low pressure system is approaching southwestern
parts of WA, with thunderstorms.

Areas of high cloud associated with an upper-level jet stream continue to drift
across the QLD.
